Air should move through your home the way a well-designed current moves through a room, evenly, quietly, and without waste. Elite Heating & Air has served Monona, IA households for 17 years.
Installing a complete HVAC system is not the same job as repairing one, and Elite Heating & Air treats it that way. Over 17 years serving Monona, IA, we have learned that a new furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump only performs as promised when the ductwork, electrical capacity, and airflow design around it are considered together. Comfort, Elevated means we do not simply set new equipment where the old equipment sat. We evaluate whether that placement, that sizing, and that ductwork configuration are actually right for how your household uses the space today.
Before recommending equipment, we calculate your home's actual heating and cooling load using its square footage, insulation, window exposure, and layout, so the system you get is sized correctly rather than estimated by rule of thumb.
Existing ductwork is inspected for leaks, restrictions, and sizing before new equipment is connected to it, because even the best furnace or AC underperforms when paired with compromised ducts.
We present efficiency tiers and equipment options clearly, explaining the real-world tradeoffs of each so you can choose confidently instead of guessing at long-term value.
After installation, we test airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical performance, and thermostat communication before considering the job complete, not just confirming the unit powers on.
Drop cloths, careful routing of refrigerant lines and wiring, and a thorough cleanup afterward are standard on every installation we complete in Monona, IA.
Every installation is backed by a labor warranty separate from the manufacturer's equipment warranty, covering our workmanship specifically for your peace of mind.
Whether you are planning a full system replacement or need a specific component repaired or improved, Elite Heating & Air brings the same installation-grade attention to detail to every job across Monona, IA. Here are six of the services homeowners request most.
A complete installation begins with a load calculation and ductwork assessment, followed by professional setup of the furnace, air conditioner, or combined system and a full performance test before we consider the job finished.
An aging air conditioner nearing constant repairs is often more costly than a correctly sized replacement. We remove the old unit, install the new system, and verify performance against manufacturer specifications.
When a furnace repair no longer makes financial sense, we walk you through efficiency options and handle the complete replacement, including venting and gas line verification where needed.
Heat pump systems rely on components that behave differently from a standard furnace or AC. Our technicians diagnose refrigerant, electrical, and reversing valve issues specific to heat pump operation.
Ductwork restricted by dust and debris undermines even a newly installed system's efficiency. We clean supply and return lines to restore proper airflow throughout your Monona, IA home.
For additions, converted spaces, or homes without central ductwork, we design and install mini-split systems sized to the specific room or zone they are meant to serve.
Every installation begins with real measurements, not a copy of what was there before.
We explain efficiency tiers clearly so you choose with confidence, not pressure.
New equipment is never connected to compromised ductwork without addressing it.
We test the entire system's performance before calling the job complete.
Every crew member is licensed and trained on the specific equipment installed.
Our installation work is backed by a warranty separate from the manufacturer's coverage.
Careful, clean installation practices protect your home throughout the process.

Most straightforward installations are completed in one to two days, though ductwork modifications, electrical upgrades, or complex venting can extend the timeline. We provide a clear estimate before work begins.
We perform a load calculation based on your home's square footage, insulation, window exposure, and layout, rather than simply matching the size of your previous equipment, which may have been incorrectly sized to begin with.
We inspect existing ductwork for leaks, damage, and correct sizing before deciding. If it is in good condition and properly sized, we reuse it. If not, we will explain your repair or replacement options clearly.
AC replacement addresses the cooling system alone, while a full HVAC installation may include the furnace, air handler, ductwork, and controls together, typically for new construction or a complete system overhaul.
Yes, we manage the permitting process required for HVAC installation work in Monona, IA as part of the project, so you do not need to navigate that process separately.
